Luckily, Maserati has blessed the Quattroporte with plenty of modern tech features, including a large infotainment system, premium audio options, and a smattering of driver-assistance features.

Maserati has introduced a new range-topping Trofeo trim to the Quattroporte lineup for 2021. The Trofeo is powered by a 580-hp twin-turbo V-8 that twists the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. A limited-slip rear differential comes standard, as does a Corsa driving mode that unlocks the car’s full potential. In addition to these upgrades, the Maserati Quattroporte S Rent in Dubai Trofeo showcases its top-of-the-line designation with a unique grille, red-accented fender vents, 21-inch wheels, and carbon-fiber trim. The latest Quattroporte has a new infotainment system, too, with a 10.1-inch touchscreen replacing the old 8.4-inch unit. A wireless charging pad and a new gauge display with updated graphics round out the changes.

Upgrading to either the GranLusso or GranSport trim is a no-brainer. For the extra $7000 over the base model, Maserati will outfit the Maserati Quattroporte S Rent in Dubai with a host of desirable features that are unique to each trim. The GranSport’s more aggressive styling suits the Quattroporte well and includes red-painted brake calipers, 12-way power-adjustable sport seats, and 20-inch wheels. Going with the GranLusso nets a slightly more upscale appearance, plus a silk and leather interior designed by Ermenegildo Zegna, heated and ventilated front seats, trim-specific 20-inch wheels, and glossy-black brake calipers. Both models come standard with adaptive cruise control.

Two twin-turbo engines are available—a 424-hp 3.0-liter V-6, and a 3.8-liter V-8 that makes 523-hp in the GTS and 580-hp in the Trofeo. An eight-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive are standard; the Quattroporte S Q4 marries all-wheel drive with the V-6. Both engines sing lovely operatic tunes when hustled and neither one will have buyers wishing for more passing power. We last tested a V-8 Quattroporte back in 2014, and our test car blasted to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds. We expect the newly-introduced Trofeo model will be even quicker. The Maserati Quattroporte S Rent in Dubai rewards enthusiast drivers with a firm suspension, agile handling, and well-weighted steering that’s both direct and communicative. The Q4 all-wheel-drive system, however, should only be on your radar if significant annual snowfall also is. Its retrograde calibration makes for significant drag and binding as well as a decidedly nonluxury experience in nonhazardous conditions.

Neither of the Maserati Quattroporte S Rent in Dubai available powertrains are particularly fuel efficient, but the rear-wheel-drive model with the twin-turbo V-6 is the most economical choice. Its EPA fuel-economy estimates are 17 mpg city, 24 mpg highway, and 19 mpg combined. Going with the S Q4 all-wheel-drive setup reduces each of those numbers by 1 mpg while the V-8-powered GTS model’s estimates are 2 mpg lower across the board. We haven’t had the chance to put a Quattroporte model through our 200-mile highway fuel-economy test, so we can’t be sure that these EPA ratings will hold up in the real world.

Soft leather, Ermenegildo Zegna silk, real carbon fiber, genuine wood, and nicely finished metal accents look and feel fantastic, but in the Maserati Quattroporte S Rent in Dubai cabin, they’re mingled with cheaper plastic bits and switchgear lifted straight out of the Chrysler parts catalog (Maserati is owned by Fiat Chrysler). This Italian sedan is priced against the German mainstay luxury brands’ flagships, but the Quattroporte’s interior is more snug than what you’d find in those full-sizers; it’s closer to mid-size offerings such as the Audi A6, BMW 5-series, and Mercedes-Benz E-class. The Executive Rear Seats package includes reclining chairs in the back, but that configuration seems like a move intended only for spec-sheet parity with the Germans. With average-size adults front and rear, there’s insufficient room for reclining. But the package does include heating and ventilation for the rear seats as well as another set of climate controls and a fixed center console creating a DMZ for elbow contact. The trunk, too, could be roomier, considering that those who can afford the Quattroporte’s starting price aren’t likely to pack light.

The Maserati Quattroporte S Rent in Dubai infotainment system is all-new for 2021 and is based on Google’s Android Automotive platform. The interface is projected to a 10.1-inch touchscreen and also features a voice-activated virtual assistant. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity features are standard and buyers can upgrade the stereo to either a 10-speaker Harman/Kardon setup or a 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins system.

Neither the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) nor the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) have released crash-test data for the Quattroporte. Maserati does offer quite a few driver-assistance features, though, and many of them are standard. Key safety features include:
