The Levante’s driver-adjustable air-spring suspension is clearly tuned for performance driving and it does a decent job of transforming this SUV into a corner carver, albeit not the most athletic of its kind. While the Levante’s tall proportions and higher center of gravity mean that some body roll is still evident in corners, its hydraulically assisted steering, though a bit vague, is quick and well weighted, lending it decent agility.

In our real-world testing, however, the V-6 impressed us with a highway fuel-economy result much higher than its ratings suggested with a 24 mpg result; the V-8–powered GTS also outperformed its EPA rating and delivered 20 mpg.

Most vehicle functions, including the climate controls, are adjusted through the infotainment display with a secondary control knob just aft of the shifter on the center console. Navigation is standard, as are SiriusXM satellite radio and Travel Link, which provides real-time traffic and weather updates. Five USB ports cover charging duties for all five possible passengers, but only one interfaces with the infotainment system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both standard.

Like a pair of Versace stilettos, the Maserati Levante SUV Rent in Dubai puts a big emphasis on style. Its cargo area still accommodated a respectable number of our carry-on luggage cases (eight behind the rear seat, 19 with the rear seats folded), even if others in this segment fared much better.
