Ferrari 488 GTB Spider Rent in Dubai
The Ferrari 488 GTB Spider Rent in Dubai is the latest chapter in Maranello’s ongoing history of open-top V8 sports cars, a story that started with the targa-top version of the 308 GTB – the immortal 308 GTS – and which ultimately resulted in the full convertible Spider architecture. Starting with the RHT (Retractable Hard Top) around which the entire car was developed, every area of the 488 Spider has been designed to set new technological benchmarks for the sector.
Clearly, the choice of a rigid hard top was essential to the character of the new Ferrari, guaranteeing a significant improvement in in-car comfort. The RHT was a world first for a mid-rear-engined car when introduced on the Ferrari 488 GTB Spider Rent in Dubai .
The latest in a long line of mid-engined Ferraris, the drool-worthy 488GTB is an exotic two
-seater that’s worthy of being celebrated with a poster on your bedroom wall. Its styling is shaped by aerodynamics as much as it is by its talented Italian designers. In addition to the standard 488 coupe, there’s a retractable-hardtop Spider and the new-for-2019, harder-core, coupe-only Pista model that turns up the heat even more.
With a mid-mounted twin-turbo 3.9-liter V-8, the Ferrari 488 Spider generates a sonorous wail and ferocious acceleration all the way to 8000 rpm, where it makes 661 hp. A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic is the sole transmission; we estimate a zero to 60 time of 3 seconds. Ferrari’s adaptive suspension is relatively compliant without sacrificing handling. The Pista version makes 710 hp. For those who want more V-8 music, the Spider offers a retractable hardtop that raises or lowers at speeds up to 25 mph.

A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic is the sole transmission; we estimate it’s capable of a zero-to-60-mph time of 3.0 seconds. Ferrari’s adaptive suspension is relatively compliant without sacrificing handling. The Pista model is even more powerful and makes 710 horsepower and should leap to 60 mph in less than three seconds. Pista means track in Italian and this special edition is certainly capable of tearing it up with rivals such as the McLaren 720S and the Lamborghini Aventador.
Fine leather, suede, carbon fiber, and metal accents cover nearly everything inside its racy, driver-focused cabin. The interior is spacious for two adults but don’t expect much in the way of infotainment or connectivity. There’s no central radio display; most everything is controlled through a digital readout in the gauge cluster via buttons and toggles on the steering wheel, including the 488’s various driving modes and the bright red ignition switch.
The 488 Spider’s design was adapted to efficiently meet the typical the demands of Spider driving and use. Its dynamic behaviour is effortless on even the most challenging routes, underscoring the feeling of ease in driving on the limit. Over all, response times are 9% more rapid than the previous Spider without any compromising whatsoever on comfort.
Every Ferrari has its own unique and distinctive soundtrack and the 488 Spider is no exception to this rule. The new V8’s soundtrack is seductively full and powerful even at low speeds and increases in volume and clarity as revs rise, underscoring the engine’s exceptional responsiveness, torque and performance.
